Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Description and Operation

PURPOSE/OPERATION
The intake air temperature sensor is built into the volume air flow sensor, being a type of resistor which detects the intake air temperature. The engine control module reads the intake temperature as the output Voltage from the sensor and compensates the fuel injection amount according to the intake air temperature.
