Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Headlights don't come on
a. But the tail lights do illuminate.
- Check the headlight relay
- Check the multi-purpose fuse 10
b. The tail lights also don't illuminate.
- Check the lighting switch
2. The upper beam at both sides doesn't illuminate.
a. The passing signal functions OK
- Check the "HI" contacts of the dimmer switch.
b. The passing signal doesn't function.
- Check the dimmer switch.
3. One headlight doesn't illuminate.
- Check the bulb.
4. Can't switch from low to high beam or vice-versa.
- Check the dimmer switch.
5. The high beam indicator light doesn't illuminate.
a. The high beam of the headlights is normal.
- Check dedicated fuse No. 3
- Check the bulb.
