Seat Belt Reminder Lamp: Description and Operation

This warning light warns the driver and front passenger to fasten their seat belts. If one or more seat belts are not fastened, the automatic seat belt control unit defects that fact and causes the warning light to be illuminated or flash. How long the light is illuminated or how many times it flashes depends on whether only one, or both of the belts remain unfastened.
