Procedure

Fig. 5 Engine Roll Stopper Assemblies:

Remove engine roll stoppers in numbered sequence, Fig. 5, noting the following:
1. Slightly raise and support engine, removing weight of engine from mount.
2. Inspect insulators for damage or cracks and replace as necessary.
3. Inspect brackets and replace if deformed or damaged.
4. Discard and replace front roll stopper bracket installation nuts. When installing new nuts, first snug nuts to bolts, then lower engine and tighten to specifications once weight of engine is applied to mount.

5. When installing rear roll stopper bracket on models with automatic transmission, ensure distance between center hole and lower edge of bracket is as shown in Fig. 6.

6. Install front roll stopper bracket with hole positioned as shown in Fig. 7.

7. When installing front roll stopper bracket, ensure distance between center hole of insulator and lower edge of bracket is as shown, Fig. 8.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
