Installation

1. Reverse removal procedures to install.

2. Install thermostat so that the flange seats in recess of intake manifold and thermostat case, Fig. 84.
3. Install retaining bolts. Torque to 12-14 ft. lbs.
4. Ensure drain is closed, then refill coolant. Replace cap, then start engine until warm. Check for leaks, then recheck coolant and fill if necessary.
