Fig. 102 Radiator Replacement:
Remove radiator in numbered sequence, Fig. 92, noting the following:
1. Drain engine coolant as follows:
a. Place instrument panel temperature control lever in Hot position.
b. Carefully remove radiator cap.
c. Remove radiator drain plug.
2. Mark and note the position of the hose clamps before removal.
3. Remove air cleaner bracket.
4. On models with automatic transaxle, plug or cover nipples and hoses for cooling lines to ensure dust, dirt or other contaminants do not enter lines.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following
a. Align hose clamps in position as marked.
b. Install air cleaner bracket
c. On models with automatic transaxle, install cooling lines.
d. Ensure drain is closed, then refill coolant. Replace cap, start engine until warm. Check for leaks, then recheck coolant and fill if necessary.
