Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

METHOD OF CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE MEMORY

CAUTION:
When servicing is finished clear the diagnostic trouble code memory.

Diagnostic trouble codes cannot be cleared from memory when the ABS ECU system in fail safe. Proceed to diagnosis and repair.
(1) Clear memory using Scan Tool.
(For details, refer to the Scan Tool instruction manual.)

(2) After clearing, recheck the diagnostic trouble codes, and check that memory is cleared.
