Manual Steering

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove both wheel and tire assemblies.
3. Disconnect joint coupling from steering gear.
4. Remove tie rod to steering knuckle retaining nut, then separate tie rod from knuckle.
5. Remove steering gear to crossmember retaining nuts, then the steering gear assembly.
6. Reverse procedure to install, then tighten steering gear to crossmember retaining nuts, joint coupling bolt and tie rod to steering knuckle retaining nut to specification.
