Hydraulic Assembly: Service and Repair

On models equipped with airbag, disarm airbag as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.

The hydraulic unit is not to be disassembled, subject to impact shocks, turned upside down or its bolts loosened.

1. Disconnect brake tune connection.
2. Remove relay box cover.
3. Disconnect hydraulic unit harness connection.
4. Remove hydraulic unit nuts and then remove the hydraulic unit upward.
5. Remove bracket, valve relay and motor relay from hydraulic unit.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
