Wiper Operation Check

1. Connect battery to wiper motor as shown in Fig. 39. Ensure motor works at low speed.
2. Connect battery to wiper motor as shown in Fig. 40. Ensure motor works at high speed.
3. Operate wiper at low speed, disconnect lead from battery.
4. Connect battery as shown in Fig. 41. Ensure motor starts on low speed, then stops at automatic stop position.

WIPER SWITCH & WASHER SWITCH

1. Remove column cover and knee protector.
2. Disconnect column switch, operate switch and ensure continuity between terminals as shown in Fig. 53.
