PURPOSE

In the F3A2 and F4A2 automatic transaxles, spacers of various thicknesses are used to adjust differential end play. To provide a wider range of adjustment, thicker spacers are now offered. These additional parts may prove useful when overhauling the automatic transmission.

As reference to this bulletin, please write the TSB number in the revision boxes on the affected pages. It is also recommended that you write-in the new part numbers as illustrated in this bulletin.

Add spacer part numbers to the table as illustrated below. (Note: these spacers may be used on either the F3A21 3-speed automatic transmission or the F4A21 four-speed automatic transmission.)
