Horn Power Wire Installation

1. Reconnect the battery. Raise the head lights using the "pop-up" switch located on the dashboard. Disconnect the battery negative (-) cable. Remove the center garnish, and left and right turn signal assemblies (Figure 32).

2. Unbolt left and right horns (Figure 33). Disconnect and tape the existing vehicle horn green/white wires.

3. Remove the provided fuse from the fuse holder in the security system horn power harness. Pass the ring terminal through the positive (+) battery terminal boot and connect it to the clamp bolt.

4. Route the security system horn power harness along the battery cable (Figure 34). Wire tie each side of the fuse holder to the battery cable.

5. Route and connect the new horn power harness wires to the horns (Figure 33). Bundle, tie, and secure the excess wire.
6. Reinstall the removed fuse in the security system horn direct power harness.

7. Reconnect the negative (-) battery cable.

8. Check horn operation. With the ignition key in the OFF position the horns should operate when the horn button is pressed.

9. Reinstall the center garnish, left and right turn signal assemblies.
