Fig. 30 Replacing Upper & Lower Control Arms & Assist Link:

1. Remove shock absorber assembly as outlined under SHOCK ABSORBER.
2. Remove upper and lower control arm and assist link in numbered sequence shown in Fig. 30, noting the following:
a. Use ball joint remover tool MB991113-01 or equivalent, to remove ball joints from the knuckle. Loosen ball joint nuts, do not remove.
