Fuel Filter: Description and Operation

Fuel Filter Components:

This vehicle is equipped with a replaceable in-line fuel filter (located on the firewall) that is specifically designed to provide the fuel contaminant protection required by the fuel injection system. The filter is also designed to operate safely in a high pressure delivery system.
