SUBJECT: ECLIPSE REAR BRAKE SQUEAK



PURPOSE

Squeaking rear brakes on some 1990 and 1991 Eclipse vehicles (produced through December 1990) may be significantly reduced by installing new disc pad sets and pad shims. This procedure is intended to be used only for cases of rear brake squeak.

TYPICAL BRAKE SHIM INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Snap the shim onto the OUTBOARD pad as shown below. Then, install the pads as described in the Service Manual.
