Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. On 3000GT models with remote control, disable airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
3. Remove airbag module and clockspring, then radio remote control switch.
4. On all models, pry off radio panel using a suitable tool, then remove panel from floor console.
5. Remove radio bracket attaching screws, then disconnect antenna and radio electrical connector.
6. Remove radio from floor console.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
