Preparation

1. Write down the radio presets. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position and remove the key from the ignition switch.

2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal at the battery.

3. Unbolt the driver's seat and remove from the vehicle. Refer to the Service Manual for procedures.

4. Remove the rear seat lower cushion.

5. Remove the left front scuff plate, left cowl side trim cover, lower left dash panel and rear hatch lever trim cover. If the vehicle has a manual transmission remove the left center console side cover.
