OPERATION
The intake air temperature sensor is provided on the AFS, being one type of the resistor which detects the intake air temperature.
ECU detects the intake temperature according to the output Voltage from the sensor and compensates the fuel injection amount according to the intake air temperature.
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
When it is troubled, it controls the fuel injection amount with the intake air temperature regarded as 25°C (77°F). The driveability may become poor at the cold time or in the winter. The trouble can be hardly felt when the atmospheric temperature is near 25°C (77°F).
