CARBURETOR DESCRIPTION
The new air fuel type feedback carburetor (defined as new FBC) is a 2-barrel, downdraft feedback carburetor, like the old type carburetor. The new FBC includes a special design feature for optimum air/fuel mixtures throughout all ranges of engine operation. Fuel metering is accomplished by two solenoid valves (feedback solenoid valve & slow cut solenoid valve - Figure 1 on page 2). By varying the amount of time each solenoid valve is energized during the duty cycle, the air/fuel mixture delivered to the engine can be precisely controlled.
