1. With finger, lightly depress choke valve to place in fully closed position.
2. Push choke vacuum break rod toward vacuum break and measure clearance between choke valve and bore, Fig. 19.
3. On Cordia and Tredia, clearance should be .078 inch for 1st stage and .118 inch for 2nd stage.
4. On Mirage, clearance should be .055 to .063 inch for 1st stage and .114 to .122 inch for 2nd stage.
5. On Pickup with 2.0L engine, clearance should be .087 to .094 inch for 1st stage and .114 to .122 inch for 2nd stage.
6. On Montero and Pickup with 2.6L engine, clearance should be .098 to .106 inch for 1st stage and .126 to .133 for 2nd stage.
7. If clearance is not as specified, adjust by bending throttle lever, Fig. 21.
