Front Seat Lumbar Support Not Working

SITUATION
The lumbar support does not function properly or at all for one or both front seats.

CAUSE
In most cases, the lumbar knob will rotate with limited or no movement of the lumbar support; this is due to a fractured or broken lumbar support.

PROCEDURE
The red circles in the photo below show where the breakage normally occurs.

If damage is seen, replace the affected lumbar support with the improved part.

Refer to ISTA Repair Instructions 52 13 055, "Remove and install/replace lumbar support on front seat."
