Vehicles produced 07/01/2011 and later

SITUATION

After programming with ISTA/P 2.42.2, the location of the trip odometer is relocated from the right side of the display in the SCC (Steering Column Cluster) to directly above the odometer. See the attached file for photos.

This new location of the trip odometer allows the Check Control warning and automatic wiper (rain sensor mode) symbols to be displayed on the right side of the odometer display.

CORRECTION

None required.

The situation described in this Service Information bulletin is a normal characteristic of the vehicle after applying a new software application.

Inform the customer of these enhancements prior to them driving the car after this programming was performed.
