Replacing Switch for Reversing Light

61 31 270 - Removing and installing/replacing reversing light switch





Necessary preliminary tasks:
N12:
- Remove intake filter housing Service and Repair

N14:
- Remove intake neck for intake filter housing

W16:
- Remove intake duct

- Remove Digital Diesel Electronics control unit

- Release fuse box in engine compartment 61 13 055 Removing and Installing / Replacing Fuse Box in Engine Compartment

- Remove bracket for Digital Diesel Electronics control unit / fuse box in engine compartment





Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release reversing light switch (2) with a suitable tool. Tightening torque 61 31 1AZ [1][2]Backup Lamp Switch.
