52 26 011 Removing And Installing/Replacing Backrest For Left Rear Seat







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove rear seat
- Partially remove the backrest cover in the lower area







Installation note:
- Microencapsulated screws (Loctite) must be replaced and may not be reused.
- Screw connection must be completed within 20 minutes (start of hardening).
- Microencapsulated screws must not be retightened.
- Clean thread of nut beforehand in event of repeated use.







Unclip cover (1) for unlocking.







Installation note:
Retaining lugs must not be damaged.

If necessary, replace cover for unlocking.







Release screws (1).

Remove backrest (2) from seat frame.

Installation note:
Replace screws (1) and insert with Loctite.







Only replace:
- Remove complete backrest cover
- Remove rear panel
