Fault description
Neutral sensor, adaptation: Not learned (MSA deactivated)

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
Engine running;
The error is recognized when one of the conditions for
learning the neutral value is not satisfied
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
none

Condition for fault memory entry
The fault must appear 25 times in sequence in accordance
with the debounce frequency.
Otherwise the debounce counter is reset and the debounce
process starts again at the beginning.

Action in service
Precise action depends upon the entered bit st_ngang
- st_ngang (Bit 7) Initiate learning procedure
(STEUERN_NULLGANG_LERNEN)
- st_ngang (Bit 6) Do not move vehicle, initiate learn
procedure again
- st_ngang (Bit 5) Start engine, check engine speed, initiate
learn procedure again
- st_ngang (Bit 4) Do not depress clutch pedal, check clutch
signal, initiate learn procedure again
- st_ngang (Bit 3) Check voltage in onboard electrical
system, charge battery as indicated, initiate learn procedure
again
- st_ngang (Bit 2) if wiring-related DTC 0x3028, 0x3029,
0x302E or 0x302F is logged, follow instructions for
repairing wiring problem, then initiate learn procedure
again.
- st_ngang (Bit 1) If wiring-related DTC 0x3028, 0x3029,
0x302E or 0x302F is logged, repair wiring fault in
accordance with instructions, if no error is present place
selector lever in neutral, initiate learn procedure again.
- st_ngang (Bit 0) If wiring-related DTC 0x3028, 0x3029,
0x302E or 0x302F is logged, repair this wiring fault in
accordance with the instructions, stop the selector lever
vibrations, initiate learn procedure again
