Oil-pressure control valve, mechanical:

Fault description
Oil-pressure control valve, mechanical

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
> The error is recognized when the oil pressure remains
minimal despite targeted application of voltage to the
solenoid valve.
> The error is recognized when the system briefly switches
to emergency backup status owing to excessively low oil
pressure more than 5 times in a single driving cycle.
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
Voltage in onboard electrical system >10V

Condition for fault memory entry
The fault must appear 5 times in sequence in accordance
with the debounce frequency.
Otherwise the debounce counter is reset and the debounce
process starts again at the beginning.

Action in service
1. If the oil level is below the minimum, simply replenish
the oil and road test the vehicle
2. If the oil level is correct or the issue continues to appear
following the oil change (refer to Item 1) replace the oil-
pressure control valve + oil change
3. If the problem still occurs, replace the entire pump
assembly (pump + valve)
