Interruption when relearning

Fault description
Throttle-valve actuator, test of lower mechanical travel stop
Cancels during relearning

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
Engine off
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
none

Condition for fault memory entry
none

Action in service
1. Delete DTCs from error memory; ignition off; ignition on
for at least one minute
2. If the error is still present:
2.a. Check: The sum of the throttle valve voltages must be 5
V,
2.b. Check to determine whether foreign objects/matter in
the intake manifold or at the throttle valve are preventing the
throttle valve from closing
2.c. Perform electrical check on wiring to throttle valve
sensors, visual examination of plug-in contacts (on
components, in wiring harness and at DME),
3. Component replacement

Fault effect and breakdown warning
Ability to continue driving is restricted because engine
speed is limited to roughly 1300 rpm.
No electrical current to throttle valve, EGAS limp-home
mode, rpm limit, EML on
