Voltage condition:

Condition for fault memory entry
0.3 sec.

Action in service
1. Check the wires to the Valvetronic servo-motor (CMI-
201(O_P_VVT1M) and/or CMI-202(O_P_VVT2M)) for
short circuit to B+. Proceed by disconnecting the VVT
motor from the wiring harness and check the harness to
determine whether battery voltage is present on one of the
pins for the Valvetronic actuator motor (ignition off)
2. If no short circuits are present in the wiring harness:
Check Valvetronic actuator motor pins for interturn short
circuit to housing
3. Replace DME
