Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear left or right underbody panelling (not R57)





Important!
Secure fuel tank against slipping and falling out.

Heavily support the fuel tank.





Release expansion rivet (1).
Release screws (2) and remove clamping band.

Installation:
Tightening torque 16 11 5AZ 16 11 Fuel Tank and Mounting Parts.
