N14 Loss of Power - Wire Chafing on Rear Control Arm

The customer complains that the vehicle lost power and cannot be restarted.
During diagnosis, various DMTL (272E/272C - Pump activation; 272A/2728 - Valve input signal) and injectors activation (e.g., 2D6B, 2D68, 2D69, 2D6A) faults are found in the DME.
Also, fuse number 5 (common power supply for DMTL and injectors circuit) is blown.
The wire for the DMTL power supply chafed the holding clip at the rear right lower control arm. Consequently, a short in the DMTL power supply caused fuse 5 to blow and the injection system to become disabled.
Remove the DMTL power supply wire from the metal clip. Insulate the chafed harness using a high quality electrical tape. Reposition the wire to avoid rubbing against the clip (see the attached procedure).
