25 11 071 - Replacing knob for shift lever





Pull gaiter (1) forwards at an angle.
Using a suitable tool, release retaining lugs of retaining ring (2).

Important!
Risk of damage to center console.

Tug firmly to remove knob.

Note:
- Do not twist knob during removal as this would cause the turning lock in the knob to shear off.

Installation Note:
- Fit knob on shift lever, align and press on until it snaps noticeably into place.





Pull gaiter over shift lever knob.
Release retaining lugs (1).
Detach gaiter (2) from shift lever knob.

Note installation position.
Distance between retaining lugs (1/2) differs in size.
