Removal and Replacement

54 61 003 - Removing and installing/replacing rollover bar





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove luggage compartment wheel arch trim
- Remove rear seat belt 72 11 092 Removing and Installing/Replacing Rear Left or Right Seat Belts from rollover bar





Secure spacer bushing (2) against falling out.
Release screws (1) on left and right.
Tightening torque 54 62 02AZ [1][2]Roll Bar.

Installation:
Spacer bushing (2) must be fitted.





Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.





Release left and right screws (1).
Tightening torque 54 62 01AZ [1][2]Roll Bar.
Lift out rollover bar.
Replacement only:
Remove all trims for rollover bar Procedures.
