Wind Noise from the Club Door

MODEL
R55 (Cooper Clubman and Cooper S Clubman) produced up to 3/2009

SITUATION

Wind noise may be heard from the area of the speaker on the Club Door while driving.

CAUSE

Improperly sealed lower door latch on the Club Door

CORRECTION

Replace the latch seal with an updated part.

PROCEDURE

1. Remove the lower latch per REP 51 22 081 in order to remove the seal around it.

2. Replace the lower latch seal.

3. Reinstall the lower latch.
