51 24 305 Removing And Installing/Replacing Gas Strut For Left Or Right Splitdoor







NOTE:
- Make a written record of the alignment of the gas pressure support(s) before removing. Right and left gas pressure spring (2) do not match.
- Slide retaining spring (1) to end of gas pressure spring (2) and lever out gas pressure spring (2) from holder.
- Repeat procedure at other end of gas pressure spring (2) and remove gas pressure spring (2).







Installation note:
Prior to installing the gas pressure spring, check the secure seat of ball stud (1) on body (2) and split door (3).
Tightening torque 51 24 14AZ.
