Replacing Contact Ring for Airbag

32 34 510 - Replacing contact ring for airbag





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove steering wheel Removing and Installing/Replacing Steering Wheel
- Remove top section of steering column casing Removing and Installing/Replacing Upper Section of Steering Column Trim.
- Remove lower section of steering column trim Removing and Installing/Replacing Lower Section of Steering Column Trim

Important!
Always secure contact ring with adhesive tape to prevent it from turning.





Disconnect plug connection.
Release screws (1).
Release retaining clips (2) on contact ring and remove contact ring.
