63 99 078 - Replacing bulb for left or right xenon headlight (from 07/04)





Warning!

Note:
For purposes of clarity, illustration shows removed headlight (4).

Open lock (1) and remove cover of bulb for xenon headlight.

Note:
Plug (3) is automatically released by turning ignition unit for xenon headlight (2).

Turn ignition unit for xenon headlight (2) approx. 30° counterclockwise and detach from headlight (4).

Installation Note:
First fit ignition unit for xenon headlight (2), then attach plug (3).





Unlock retaining ring (1) in direction of arrow and remove.
Remove bulb for xenon headlight (2) in direction of arrow from headlight (3).





Installation Note:
Insert bulb for xenon headlight (1) exactly in headlight (2).
Observe "Top" marking (3).
Fit retaining ring (4) on headlight in such a way that apertures (5) slide over fixtures of ignition unit for xenon headlight.
