51 49 000 Removing And Installing Or Replacing Trim For Rear Lid







Note: The operation is described on the left side; proceed in the same way for the right side.

Unclip cover (1) at openings (2) and remove.







Installation: Guide (1) and catches (2) on cover (3) must not be damaged.







Release screws (1).
Unclip clips (2) on trim (3).







Release screw (1) on retractor Bowden cable (2).

Installation: 3AZ Lock to rear lid 7.6 Nm

Warning: Retractor Bowden cable is tensioned (risk of injury).







Important: Feed out retractor Bowden cable (1) first on left side through opening (2) in rear lid trim and then on right side in the same way (risk of damage to rear lid).







Remove cable grommet (1) downwards.
Remove trim (2) upwards.







Installation: Guides (1) and clips (2) on trim (3) must not be damaged.
