Removing and Installing/Replacing Mirror on Left or Right Front Door

51 16 000 - Removing and installing/replacing mirror on left or right front door





Turn mirror in direction of arrow in order to expose front retaining screws.
Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 51 16 3AZ [1][2][3]51 16 Mirrors, Finishers, Ashtrays, Consoles.





Turn mirror in direction of arrow in order to expose rear retaining screw.
Release screw (1).
Tightening torque 51 16 3AZ [1][2][3]51 16 Mirrors, Finishers, Ashtrays, Consoles.





Disconnect plug connection (1) from door mirror.
Remove mirror.

Installation:
Seal (2) must not be damaged, replace if necessary.





Replacement:
- Remove mirror glass Replacing Mirror Glass
- Remove drive unit for door mirror Service and Repair
- Remove housing on door mirror Removing and Installing/Replacing Housing on Left or Right Door Mirror
