INFORMATION
In situations where the customer complains of a check control (CC) message, but the message is currently not displayed, the last (72) CC messages are stored in the instrument cluster and can be viewed using DIS V49.0, or later. (Note: Only important messages are stored. Messages concerning e.g. door open, are not stored.)

To view stored CC messages, from the Diagnosis Operation and Component Selection screen, select "Service Functions / Vehicle Information / Check Control Messages / Test Plan". Follow the onscreen prompts to run the test plan. Each stored CC message can be displayed together with its identification number and the vehicle mileage when it was stored.

The attachment lists all possible CC messages with a description of each.
