Function
The secondary solenoid valve controls the tension of the steel belt between the two belt pulleys. For this purpose, the pressure in the secondary belt pulley is varied in accordance with the load conditions. Efficiency and consequently fuel consumption are thereby optimized.

Installation Location
The valve is installed in the transmission valve bank.
