52 13 000 - Removing and installing left or right front seat (TU)





Warning!

Incorrect handling can activate airbag and cause injury.

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Switch off ignition

- Disconnect battery Instructions for Disconnecting and Connecting Battery

- Follow instructions Instructions for Disconnecting and Connecting Battery for disconnecting and connecting battery





Slide front seat as far forward as possible.
Release and dispose of screws (1).

Installation Note:
Replace screws.

Tightening torque 52 13 1AZ Front Seats.





Slide front seat as far back as possible.
Release and dispose of screws (1).
Tightening torque 52 13 1AZ Front Seats.
Carefully tip front seat towards rear.
Unlock and disconnect plug connections under front seat.

Important!
Cover entrance with protective cover. (Risk of damage).
Seat frame has very sharp edges. Danger of injury!

Lift out front seat.





Installation Note:
Carpet must not get between seat rails and floor pan in area of screw fastening points (grating noises).
