Function check of folding sun roof

The test module contains all the known fault causes that can lead to malfunctions on the folding sun roof. For each fault cause, the current repair recommendations are displayed.
In order to run the test module, there must be a diagnosis connection with the vehicle, as at the start of the test module diagnosis data is read out.
During the function check, a battery charger must be connected.

Notes

In some cases, repair instructions contain comprehensive picture material for fault patterns or repair instructions. Observe the notes on the specified repair instructions!

Stored faults for Convertible top control

If faults are stored for the Convertible top module, they must be remedied before this test module is run. For this reason, a short test as function check must be run in all cases before the test module is run.

Overload protection is activated

If the Convertible top is operated very frequently within a short time, it can occur that the overload protection is activated. In this case, the following entry is made in the fault memory:
7D information memory: overload protection for hydraulic pump activated
With active overload protection, the Convertible top cannot be operated for 15 minutes.
During the function check of the Convertible top control, make sure that the top is not operated too frequently within a short time.
