New Wiper Switch

INFORMATION
Commencing in August 2007, a new wiper switch with revised intermittent wipe functionality was phased into series production.





With the new switch, intermittent wipe is activated or deactivated by pressing the button on the end of the switch.

to this Service Information.

Vehicles produced before August 2007:

The new switch is used as a replacement part for vehicles produced before August 2007. When replacing an old style switch, an Owner's Manual Supplement must be ordered and provided to the customer, together with an explanation of functional changes.

2007 model year vehicles produced August 2007 and later:

The new functionality is not described in the 2007 Owner's Manual. As necessary, please use the attachment to describe the new switch to the customer. Copies of the attachment may be made and provided to the customer as required.
