SUBJECT
Cruise Control Cuts Out At 70 mph While Switching Lanes

MODEL
R56 N12, N14 vehicles produced up to 3/07.

SITUATION
While in cruise control mode and at a vehicle speed of around 70mph, while switching lanes (steering angle change), the cruise control cuts out.

CAUSE
Error in DSC software.

PROCEDURE
Update the vehicle using PROGMAN V25 or higher.

Covered under the terms of the BMW New Vehicle Limited Warranty.
Please refer to the latest KSD for all applicable labor operations and allowances.

If the appropriate labor operation is not contained in KSD, then a work time labor operation should be used.
