CAUSE
Off-network roaming is an available feature on the CDMA network. When an affected handset is in extending roaming mode, the handset sends the roaming status to the Interface box (MULF-SBX). Because of the set up some cellular service plans, if a phone call is placed or received when a handset is in extended roaming mode it may cost the consumer extra money. The MULF-SBX was designed to block calls when the handset is in extended roam module to protect customer from being unaware of the roaming mode.
