SUBJECT
Service Engine Soon Light Is On with Fault 2B15 Stored

MODEL
R56 with the N12 engine produced up to 3/30/07

SITUATION
The Service Engine Soon Light is illuminated with no engine running issues present. The following fault code is stored in the DME:

2B15 Intake pipe differential pressure, plausibility

CAUSE
DME software sensitivity

CORRECTION

On a customer complaint basis only and if the vehicle's integration level is R056-06-12-515 or below, reprogram and encode the vehicle using Progman V25.00 or higher.
