Removal and Replacement

24 11 040 - Removing and installing/replacing transmission fluid cooler (AISIN)

Important!
After completion of work, check transmission fluid level Service and Repair.
Use only the approved transmission fluid.

Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious damage to the automatic transmission!

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Draining coolant Service and Repair

- Remove intake filter housing Service and Repair

- Remove intake filter housing gaiter.

Unfasten hose clip (1).
Detach coolant hose (2).

Loosen hose clamps (1).
Detach coolant hoses (2) from transmission fluid cooler.

Release screw (1).
Tightening torque 24 11 11AZ [1][2]Fluid Pan, A/T.

Installation Note:
Pay attention to position lug (2).

Replace sealing ring (1).

Installation Note:
Clean contact surfaces.
Moisten sealing ring (1) with clean transmission fluid.
