SITUATION

The airbag warning lamp illuminates intermittently. Fault code 55 (Emergency call function) is stored in the MRS5 (Multiple Restraint System) module.

CAUSE

Wiring to pin 54 of MRS5 or faulty MRS5 control module (Internal component [varistor] fault)

CORRECTION

[NEW] The problem has been integrated into DIS Diagnostics. Follow Diagnostics and the relevant test plan, using the latest DIS version.
