Windshield Washer Reservoir: Service and Repair

Replacing Fluid Tank For Windshield Washer System


NOTE:
Drain fluid tank for windshield washer system
Remove right auxiliary turn indicator light.
Remove right wheel arch cover.







Remove bolt (1).
Tightening torque 4 Nm.







Remove windshield washer pump.
Remove bolt and nut (1).
Tightening torque 4 Nm.
Pull bottom of fluid tank forward as arrow show.
Release pipes clipped to fluid tank (2).
Release harness clip (3).
Remove fluid tank.

Install hint:
Replace sealing ring/strainer on washer pump.
Coat sealing ring of washer pump with anti-friction agent.
Make sure hoses are laid without kinks.
Fill fluid tank for windshield washer system
