Sunroof / Moonroof Switch: Description and Operation

Sunroof Switch

The sunroof switch is mounted in the roof headliner at the front of the car. The switch has double contacts, the first contact operates the roof all the time the switch is pressed, the second contact is for the one-touch functions of the roof. The switch sends a ground signal to the sunroof control unit. The circuit is closed when the control unit is connected to the ground/earth.
